Justine M. Garbaciak MS, LPC-SAS, NCC
Owner/Clinic Director/Psychotherapist
Justine is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Substance Abuse Specialty and a member of the American Counseling Association. Justine earned her Masters’ Degree in Educational Psychology with a community and school counseling emphasis at UW-Milwaukee. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Psychology and Human Development at UW-Green Bay.
Justine enjoys working with individuals across the life span to include children ages five and older, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. In working with Justine, each individual or family begins to identify their strengths, as well as challenges. Increasing awareness of self in addition to working from a position of strength propels individuals and families forward in living the best they can. When Justine joins with clients she begins by meeting them where they are. Justine provides a non-judgmental setting which begins the process of emotional safety and healing can begin.
Through life experience and personal growth Justine has found strength in connections with people. Clients benefit from Justine's ability to remain humble while recognizing what is needed to feel accepted, encouraged, and supported.
Justine’s joy in life comes from her family. Justine, Mark and their four children: Abbie, Hayden, Haley, and Daxton, two dogs, two cats (and a few fish) tackle the daily challenges of a busy household with competing demands. Equally important to Justine are her extended family, and close circle of friends, all of whom provide her a foundation of strength and happiness.
“I believe the quality of relationship between therapist and client is a primary factor in promoting change. A trusting relationship instills hope and positivity. Developing self-confidence through a healthy therapeutic connection encourages the belief that change is possible.”
